FBE supports solar energy projects across Maine and New England by providing comprehensive environmental and ecological due diligence, and spearheading or assisting with federal, state, and local permitting. Throughout project development, FBE engages in consultation with relevant regulatory authorities to introduce project designs and discuss the desired level of effort for studies and documentation included in permit applications.

On a recent project, Nutmeg Solar, FBE conducted a herpetological assessment on a 191-acre land in the Connecticut River Valley where a solar photovoltaic electricity-generating facility has since been established.
