Watershed Surveys

NEW ENGLAND

FBE staff measuring a gully during a watershed survey in Center Harbor, New Hampshire

As part of our stormwater and watershed management services, our staff are trained to perform watershed surveys to identify sources of nonpoint source pollution in both urban and rural environments. We record detailed information at each documented site of concern, and recommend Best Management Practices to mitigate nonpoint source pollution from stormwater or agricultural runoff. Additionally, our staff are trained in lake shoreline surveys and stream corridor surveys which are used to identify locations of nonpoint source pollution, erosion concern, or habitat degradation along a lake shoreline or river riparian corridor.
