Comprehensive Plan
In 2022, FBE teamed with Resilience Planning & Design to assist Bar Harbor, Maine, with updating its comprehensive plan by analyzing natural resources and land use, addressing challenges such as climate change, affordable housing, and seasonal tourism, and facilitating public outreach to balance the needs of residents, visitors, and the environment.

Open Space Plan
FBE and Terrance J. DeWan and Associates developed a comprehensive Open Space Plan for South Portland, working with a volunteer committee to design a tailored plan, conducting a citywide survey, hosting a public forum to gather input, and using community feedback to create strategies for future open space planning, which was formally adopted in July 2019 and is now being implemented.

Open Space & Connectivity Plan
FBE worked with the Town of Stratham to create an Open Space and Connectivity Plan by guiding a Steering Committee, documenting existing open space, conducting public outreach through events and surveys, and using a science-based approach to develop goals, strategies, and action plans, culminating in a final plan presented through ArcGIS StoryMaps for seamless integration of spatial data and visuals.
