STRATHAM, NEW HAMPSHIRE

FBE worked with the Town of Stratham in creating an Open Space and Connectivity Plan. FBE collaborated with town planners, key officials, and members of the community to create and guide an OSCP Steering Committee. FBE documented and visualized existing open space, conducted public outreach to engage the citizens of Stratham, and explored strategies to enhance the connectivity and quality of the Town’s open space network. Utilizing FBE’s science meets civics approach, FBE was able to provide the Town with a science backed public engagement plan. This included two in-person events, an interactive survey map, an online survey, a frequently updated website, newsletters, and social media outreach. To support the decision making of the Town Staff, FBE identified goals in support of a tailored vision, recommended strategies, and created action plans to ensure each goal is achieved. The final plan was created using ArcGIS StoryMaps, allowing for the seamless integration of spatial data and visuals into the plan.
