In partnership with the Town of Brunswick, FBE is facilitating baseline monitoring within Maquoit Bay and its watershed to address the declining water quality within the Bay. The study works toward further establishing the baseline water quality of the Bay, identifying major sources of nitrogen and bacteria pollution, and understanding the impacts of aquaculture within the Bay through water quality monitoring and modeling. Following the water quality monitoring effort, FBE will provide Brunswick with a Water Quality Monitoring Report illustrating key findings from the results of the study.
