Permitting
Environmental project review, coordination, and permit application preparation for projects that involve land and water resource regulations which protect wetlands, rare threatened and endangered wildlife and plant species, water quality, and guide overall land disturbance.
At FBE, we specialize in navigating complex permitting processes at the federal, state, and local levels. With a deep understanding of environmental regulations, our team anticipates challenges, identifies project-specific requirements early, and streamlines approvals to keep your project on track.
Every project is different—and so are its permitting needs. Our interdisciplinary team of permitting specialists, ecologists, wetland scientists, and planners works collaboratively to uncover potential hurdles, evaluate solutions, and proactively manage issues that could affect schedule or cost.
Agency Coordination & Compliance
We work closely with regulatory agencies to align project goals with environmental standards. Through strong relationships and technical expertise, we ensure timely permitting and full compliance while maintaining project momentum.
Seamless Partnerships
We partner with trusted engineering firms to deliver integrated project teams that combine regulatory know-how with site and civil design capabilities. This coordination creates practical, cost-effective solutions grounded in environmental stewardship.

Wetlands Permitting
FBE helps clients obtain wetlands permits, such as the Standard Dredge and Fill
process in NH and Natural Resources Protection Act process in Maine, by coordinating with regulators, conducting field assessments, minimizing impacts, and preparing applications. We ensure projects comply with regulations while balancing development and environmental responsibility.
